Merthyr Valleys Homes have been working in partnership with Pantysgallog primary school to create a campaign to raise awareness of fly tipping in the hopes to prevent the ever increasing fly tipping issue in our borough.

A group of year five pupils from the school worked alongside Merthyr Valleys Homes completing a 7 week programme where pupils learnt what fly tipping was and how it is affecting our town. The group then decided to create a short video to demonstrate how they felt about fly tipping.

After the summer holidays we will be holding a premier showing of the full video for the pupils.

This project has been so successful we are hoping to showcase the video at schools across the borough to kick start a smaller project with each school to spread the message of #dontWASTEourfuture.

Below is a preview of the video.
