Walking to raise money for our Members’ Charity
Date: 30th March 2019
Time: 9.30am registration for a 10am start
Walk: Aberfan leisure centre to Merthyr Tydfil leisure centre
Join us on Sunday 17th of March and take part in our sponsored walk from Aberfan to Merthyr Tydfil to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society, our 2018/2019 Members’ Charity.
Dementia affects many lives and is set to be the 21st century’s biggest killer – so every penny we raise really counts!
The money raised will be spent locally and will help Alzheimer’s Society provide information and support, improve care, fund research and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.
With just over £1,800 raised already from events during the year, we’re so close to reaching our £2k target. We want to use these last few months to boost our total and raise as much as we can.
Sign up today and come and join in this fight against dementia. We can make a difference with every step.
