Welsh Language Scheme

Merthyr Valleys Homes has adopted the principle that in the conduct of public businesses in Wales, it will, so far as is both appropriate in the circumstances and reasonably practical, treat the Welsh and English languages on the basis of equality.

We are committed to ensuring that services are in place to meet the needs of people who wish to deal with us through the medium of Welsh.

 

Welsh Language Scheme

We have prepared a Welsh Language Scheme, outlining how we will operate the principle of providing services to the public in Welsh.

Language Line

 

We are a member of Language Line – a 24-hour telephone interpreting service. Language Line has access to qualified interpreters in over 100 languages enabling us to get an interpreter on the line in minutes to help us respond to your query.
