Salary – £23,988 (Pro Rata)
16 Hours per week, flexi time

Having become the first employee and tenant mutual in Wales there could not be a more exciting time to join Merthyr Valleys Homes.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Income Maximisation Officer to work in our busy income team on a permanent basis. The post holder will be responsible for supporting our tenants to manage their tenancies effectively by ensuring that all matters relating to benefits, budgeting, debts and the cost of running a house are fully understood to maximise tenancy sustainability.
Key responsibilities will include supporting our tenants to successfully claim and maintain both Housing Benefit and Universal Credit Housing Costs. The Income Benefits Maximisation Officer will also contribute to the anti-poverty and financial inclusion agendas of MVH, and where necessary to provide advice and assistance to tenants on income maximisation.
