Rent Income Officer

Rent Income Officer

Salary Band 3 – £21,820 to £23,990 per annum

Fixed Term until 31st March 2020

We are currently recruiting for a Rent Income Officer to join our Housing team on a 2 year fixed term basis. This role will be responsible for the collection and recovery of current and former tenant rent arrears and miscellaneous debts.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of current and former rent accounts taking appropriate action to both prevent and recover arrears in accordance with MVHs policies & procedures.

This post is both office based and mobile and will include assessing and arranging affordable repayment plans with residents in arrears, liaising with both the Local Authority  and DWP to progress Housing Benefit and Housing Costs, identifying support needs and referring appropriately, and preparing and presenting possession claims in the County Court.

We are currently recruiting for a Governance Assistant to join our Engagement & Ownership Team on a 2 year fixed term basis. This role will provide administrative support (on occasion confidential) to the E & O Team, as directed by the Governance Officer. It will also provide day to day administrative duties to ensure that the governance functions run effectively and smoothly.

The successful candidate will require experience of providing a full range of competent administrative support as well as experience of providing high levels of customer service.

Infrastructure Support and Development Officer

Infrastructure Support and Development Officer – Permanent

Salary Band 4 – £24,310 to £26,850 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Support and Development Officer to join our IT Team on a Permanent basis. The role will ensure that the ICT service in the Mutual supports the commitments in Yfory and the annual plan through continuous improvement of our systems, carrying out system administration procedures and providing an ICT support service.

 

The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for keeping Merthyr Valleys Homes’ ICT systems running as designed. They will also carry out Infrastructure administration procedures, and maintain the integrity of core Infrastructure systems in line with company business processes.
