That’s why we offer a range of support options - this section covers our support services and how to apply for help.

Tenant Support


  • Are you in arrears?
  • Do you struggle to pay the bills?
  • Do you have a new tenancy and need support?

If so, there is a free service that can provide help and support.

Tenant support scheme and MAASH


Merthyr Valleys Homes provides tenancy support to tenants.

The scheme is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and is co-ordinated through the 'MAASH' team. (MAASH means ‘Managing Access to Adapted and Supported Housing’).

How can tenant support help you?


We can help with:
  • Budgeting and debt management.
  • Claiming benefits and maximising income
  • Help with accessing training/education and employment.
  • Help to make sure your home is safe and secure.
  • Help to access professional help (Social services, GP etc.)
  • Help to build your confidence.
