Merthyr Valleys Homes is a forward-thinking mutual housing association that owns and manages just over 4,000 homes in Merthyr Tydfil.

In 2016 we became the first tenant and employee-owned mutual housing organisation in Wales. Our members (tenants and employees) have influence over the running and future direction of our mutual and help us to continually improve the services we provide. Our elected members’ group, Democratic Body, have real powers and work closely with our Board and Executive Leadership Team to meet the growing needs and aspirations of our tenants, our employees and our local communities. Our key strength lies in working together.

We are seeking four passionate and enthusiastic individuals who would like to help us to build on what we’ve already achieved:

• We are looking for one Non-Executive Director (for an initial 3 Year Term)
• We are seeking three Co-opted Non-Executive Directors (for an initial 1 Year Term)

We are looking for people who have skills, knowledge and experience in one of more of the following areas:

• Asset management, compliance and/or Health & Safety
• Human Resources and organisational development
• Housing and Communities in a social housing setting
• Health and Social Care
